Health Systems Floor Plan Refresh

What We're Doing

Facilities and Space Information Management (FSIM) has partnered with UC San Diego Health Facilities Planning, Design and Construction to improve the quality and accuracy of Health Systems building floor plans. This effort spans several buildings across multiple locations. We are:

  • Reviewing and incorporating existing project information where it is available
  • Conducting on-site field verification, including efficient overall building reviews and more detailed assessments in select areas, as needed
  • Incorporating verified field data into CAD floor plans to capture the most current information
  • Uploading the revised floor plans to the Tririga Integrated Workplace Management System

Field Verification

FSIM staff will be on site intermittently during weekday daytime hours to perform visual verification of spaces. Additional coordination will be requested only for areas that are sensitive, operationally complex or require special access. If a space requires special coordination or has access restrictions, please contact Holly Hersey.

This effort primarily involves managers, assistant managers and designated contacts for Health Systems spaces for awareness. Field verification may occur in occupied areas and FSIM staff will be mindful of daily activities and work to minimize disruption.

Field verification and floor plan updates are for documentation purposes only. This effort captures current conditions in Health Systems buildings and reflects how spaces are configured and used today. It should not be interpreted as an indication of future projects, space reassignments or operational changes.
