Classroom Safety Lockdown Devices
To enhance safety in general assignment classrooms, Facilities Management has installed the manual “Nightlock” brand lockdown devices which offer a simple, user-friendly solution that can be quickly activated in an emergency. Each classroom door has been retrofitted to allow deployment of this simple locking mechanism in an emergency and a user guide is placed above each device.
Faculty, students and staff in these buildings should review the user guide to be prepared before a potential emergency.
