Maps and Construction Drawings
New Campus Map
Transitioning July 5, 2026
UC San Diego is transitioning from maps.ucsd.edu to the new campusmap.ucsd.edu. The new GIS map provides the same trusted campus information with improved search, navigation, accessibility, mobile experience and 2D/3D campus views, which create a foundation for future enhancements.
The new data-based map platform:
- Includes a dedicated Accessible Map designed to improve access for screen reader and keyboard-only users through a simplified interface and searchable location information
- Creates opportunities for future enhancements, including:
- Indoor maps
- Floor-to-floor navigation
- Enhanced visitor and event experiences
- Smart campus applications
- Expanded campus GIS resources

What You Need to Do
If you maintain a website, application, event page, QR code, bookmark or embedded map, please review and update maps.ucsd.edu assets to campusmap.ucsd.edu before July 5, 2026.
Feedback and Support
You can help us improve the map by requesting enhancements or reporting:
- Missing or incorrect information
- New locations or points of interest
- Accessibility updates
